The installation process begins by us setting up a Development (DEV) installation of our standard WebPathLab solution on our development servers for your laboratory. The DEV initial template installation takes 1 day to complete.
We send you an installation package that will let us know the extend of the configuration, details about your PDF pathology report, your logo and corporate information. We prepare a Technical Requirements Document (TRD) that we review with you and once approved, by you, we start the configuration process. We want to make sure that you know that we know what you want on your solution. The configuration process takes between 1 and 4 weeks depending on the extend of the requirements. We have in fact completed installations within 5 days of the TRD approval.
Any custom work is also added to the TRD and this will increase the installation time but generally not by much. You will have access to the DEV server from day one so you can review, monitor and provide input to us in real time. Our goal is to build a solution that will fit your exact needs as soon as possible. Once the DEV site is bench tested by us, we ask for your review and once approved, we deploy to the LIVE site where it is ready for usage.
We train your staff on how to use the system and your pathologists as well. A “documentation” website is connected to your installation under the Help menu that will help you remember what was taught in training.
